New To Px?
New to PixSylated?
Welcome. PixSylated is a web magazine. And just like most magazines, our front page is chocked full of information about what’s inside. It can be a bit confusing at first. Most of what you see are just blurbs about the articles inside. Headlines and most photos are links to the actual articles.
The guide below will help you understand how the front page is designed. Once you know, you’ll be able to cruise around Px with the best of us.
PixSylated publishes two regular articles each week ‘Lessons I Didn’t Learn In Photo School’ (published every Wednesday) are brief pieces on my philosophy of being a photographer. ‘Random Bits’ (published every Friday) are short blurbs on content from other sites that I think you should know about.
I also publish more epic pieces randomly and without warning. My favorite topics for epic articles are high-speed sync, gang light (using many speedlites together) and color management.
If you think that the Px fonts are too small, hit Cmd / Ctrl and + to make the fonts bigger. (You can actually do this on most websites.) Cmd / Ctrl and – takes the fonts the other way.
If you read a lot of blogs, you should use a web reader. That way, you’ll get each new article delivered as it is published. Read about web readers and how to subscribe to PixSylated for free right here.
